Chai-Fei Li

Research Associate

Chai-Fei Li was born in Hong Kong. She attended middle school in North Wales, U. K. and completed her high school education in Hong Kong. After graduating from high school, she came to the States and graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. from the department of Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis of Immunology.

During her undergraduate education, she joined the California Regional Primate Research Center, Davis, as a Student Lab assistant where she assisted in research on the bacteria Helicobacter pylori, the main bacteria that causes stomach ulcers and assisted in performing necropsy.

Upon graduating from Berkeley, she joined the Laboratory of Cell Growth in 2001 as a Research Associate. Her area of concentration is on signaling pathways that trigger cell proliferation.
