Hanjun Kim
Research Associate
Hanjun was born in Korea. He attended middle school and high school in Sacramento, California. He went to American River College, and then transferred to the University of California, Berkeley. He received B.A. from the department of Molecular and Cell Biology with emphasis in Genetics, Genome and Development.
During his undergraduate studies, Hanjun volunteered at Plant Gene Expression Center, Albany, where he studied gene expression of Arabidopsis thaliana, a major plant model for genetics studies and one of very few organisms which its genome has been sequenced.
After graduating from Berkeley, Hanjun joined the Laboratory of Cell Growth in 2009 as a research associate. He is also the website editor.
